  • Every Christian Israelite should be able to give a reason for the faith that he holds, to know why he believes and the grounds for such believes.   
    St. John 8:31.

  • This primary guide is to aid in meeting this need and to give brief back up scriptures supporting the subjects. The standard of authority used here is the Holy Bible and the   final appeal is always to its pages as  to our reason why.

  • The Church of God and Saints of Christ is founded upon the Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ being the Chief Cornerstone.  Founded in 1896 by Prophet William Saunders Crowdy according to 1 Corinthians 1:1-2.

  • We believe in the Almighty God, who is the Supreme Being.  The prime mover of motions, the one who knows all things,   the prime doer of all things done.  The judge and rewarder. 
    Deuteronomy 32:36-43.  

     The Bible is a full and significant guide for Christian living.

      II Peter 1:20-21; II Timothy 3:16.

      Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, who is our Lord; Savior and Redeemer.
      St. John 3:16; St. Matthew 16:16.

  •   Prophet William Saunders Crowdy is a divinely inspired prophet.  Some of his writings were copyrighted December 16, 1902, in the office of the Library of   Congress,  Washington, D.C. 
    St. Matthew 10:41;  Zechariah 7:7;  Joel 2:28;  Ephesians 4:11-13.

  • Prayer is the means through which we make solemn petition to God for things desired.  
    1 Timothy 2:8;  Psalms 55:16-17;  St. Mark 11:24-26.

  • The Seventh Day Sabbath is to be observed as commanded by God even in this age.  It is a covenant between God and His people forever. 
      Exodus 20:8-10;  Hebrews 4:4-8;  Isaiah 58:13.

  • Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread are important festivals to us because God delivered our fore parents and commanded us to observe   these sacred days (Abib (April) 13-20), forever. 
    Exodus 13:3-10 was also observed by our Lord Jesus Christ - St. Matthew 26:2, 18,20; St. John 13:3.

  • New Year beginning -- Abib (April) is the beginning of a New Year.  God instituted it and commanded that it be recognized and observed.
    Exodus 12:1-2; Exodus 13:4; Deuteronomy 16:1.

  • Baptism by immersion in water demonstrating the burial of the old life of sin, and rebirth into a new spiritual life.  - Galatians 3:26-27; II John 3:5; Romans 6:4.

  • Foot washing is a part of the necessary invitation for acceptance into the church, the body of Christ.  
    St. John 13:5-17; Ephesians 6:11-18.

  • Blessing of children, the ancient mothers believed as mothers today,  that their children should be presented to the Lord at a very early age.

  • The Ten Commandments embodies the moral laws of God and are to be observed by God's people even in this age -
     St. Matthew 5:17-19; I John 2:4; II Kings 17:37.

  • The Church of God and Saints of Christ was registered as the 667th religious organization in the United States of America, by the Library of Congress, on December 16, 1902.
